Tuesday and Wednesday

What a wonderful couple of days we have had here at Hoofbeat! We've heard from a few Chicagoland parents who wanted to make sure we have power - not to fear, our Monday morning rains were not severe and we never lost power at all!

On Tuesday, we had our morning riding classes and then headed out of camp on our Mystery Trip! We went to the Kalahari Water Park in the Wisconsin Dells - a super fun day! We spent the afternoon floating on the lazy river, playing in the wave pool, enjoying pizza, going down slides, and generally having a great time! We returned to camp in time to go to bed!

This morning, we slept a half hour later than usual so that everyone would be well-rested after the Mystery Trip. We had our morning riding lessons and other morning classes. The weather today was one of the nicest days we've had all summer - neither too hot nor too cold, with a light breeze. We enjoyed being outside so much today that we went out on some long trail rides, which everyone enjoyed. We also played Spud, tie-dyed clothes, and played an all-camp Capture the Flag type game. What a great day!

Here are some pictures from our time at the Kalahari:
