Middle School Riding

Every fall we have the chance to work with a wonderful group of middle school students from all of the Madison schools. These riders join us for one day a week for four weeks. As long as the weather allows we head out on trails as well as do ring work. These young men and women learn how to care for a horse as well as steering and trotting. With lots of energy and enthusiasm we really enjoy getting to know these young people.

Mother/Daughter weekends

One of our favorite programs to run here is the Mother/Daughter riding weekends. This allows both moms and daughters to join us for a weekend of fun. We do our usual riding as well as horse science and arts and crafts. These last two weekend we have been lucky with fabulous sunny weather. We have also been able to use our new draft horse, Pippa, to do some ground driving with. Thank you for such great weekends!

Foggy Fall Morning

It's been a busy fall already here on the ridge. We have been very active with the middle school riding program as well as mother daughter weekends. The other morning I had a few moments to catch some photos of everything as it was quiet. Shortly there will be a post from our programs so check back to see some fun from mother/daughter and also pictures from some of our middle school riding groups.
