Hello everybody! My name is Melissa and this will be my 11th summer at Hoofbeat and my 5th working with the Resident Campers! Outside of camp, I am finishing my second year majoring in Animal Science and Environmental Studies at UW-Madison. When I’m not at camp or school, I love doing anything outside, especially hanging out with my horse, Sterling! My favorite camp activities include Quiddich games and Numbers and my favorite camp horses would have to be Jazz, Lightning and Indy! I can’t wait to see everyone for another fantastic summer!
Hi all! I’m Sophie and this will be my second year as Resident Camp staff. I’m a junior in an online high school, and in my free time I love to read, listen to music, spend time outside, and relax with my dogs. Currently I live in La Crosse, Wisconsin, but I’m originally from Mazomanie! I’m counting the days till camp starts up, and I can’t wait to participate in my favorite camp activities (hay rides, group games, and breakfast) and see all my favorite horses, especially Kirby and Roscoe! (pictured is my favorite senior citizen, Midnight) Mainly I’m looking forward to getting to know all the campers and my co-counselors, new and familiar faces alike. See you this summer!
