Hi, I’m Kelly! This is my first year working at Hoofbeat as a staff member, and I am so unbelievably excited! I’ve been going to camp for six years, and ever since my first year I’ve always wanted to become part of the camp staff family. I’m from the suburbs of Chicago in Illinois, but the three hour drive to camp is totally worth it (well, I’m also not the one who drives, I just nap in the passenger seat)! In my free time, I’m part of my school’s varsity debate team, varsity badminton, band, and colorguard. I also love doing makeup and special fx makeup when I have the time to! I can’t wait to make so many new memories at camp this summer, and I’m just so excited for everything I can’t pick one. Summer can’t come soon enough!
Hello everyone! My name is Halley and I'm super excited to be returning for another amazing summer at Hoofbeat! This summer will be my 6th as staff, my second working with the CIT program, and my 13th overall with Resident camp! I'm originally from Madison, WI, but I spend most of the year in Minneapolis attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I am studying speech-language-hearing sciences and psychology. Some of my favorite camp activities include trail rides, theme nights, and spending time with my favorite camp horses, Scout and Raspberry! I can't wait to be back at camp and get to know all the new and returning staff and campers.
Hello I’m Izzy and I am SUPER excited for this summer!! This will be the 3rd year as Resident Camp staff and 6th year at Hoofbeat overall. I am from Buffalo Grove, IL and will be attending Colorado State University in the fall to study zoology. In my free time I love playing with my dog, doing yoga, and being outside. Although I love all Camp activities I am most looking forward to singing campfire songs, going on nature hikes, and of course stir fry night! Can’t wait to see everyone!!!
