Days!
We have had a fabulous
start to the week here at Hoofbeat Ridge! The girls are all settled
and having fun in their cabin groups and riding classes! At lunchtime
the dining hall is buzzing with tales of favorite horses and new
crafts! On Monday night we chilled out at the pool cause of the heat,
and today it wasn't much cooler, so here is what we did...
This afternoon was
super hot, so we decided to postpone riding till it cooled down a
little! INSTEAD, we decided to play some water games, drama games,
and do some crafts!! :D The girls had a fabulous time cooling off and
playing around! We did some surprise skits (where each team is handed
a list of locations, items & a quote they must include in their
skit) and the girls had a grand old time!
In the evening, it was
a lovely cool temperature... well, cooler than it has been! So we
decided to fit in some bareback riding! It was awesome getting to
know our horses on a new level! The girls really enjoyed riding in
with the sunset, cooling off and having fun.
It's been a great
couple of days so far!! We'll keep you updated! :D
