No Rain!

We felt a few drops of rain as we tacked up the horses this morning, and watched the radar all day with bated breath... but managed to escape unscathed by the rain systems moving across southern Wisconsin!

Today we started our morning skill classes. After breakfast, each camper got a schedule to follow every morning for the entire week: one hour of riding, one hour of unmounted horse care instruction, and one hour of a non-horse activity such as arts and crafts, nature, or drama.

In the afternoon, we played some mounted games with our riding classes. Popular games included Red Light, Green Light (much more complicated on horseback), Steal the Carrot, and relay races. Tonight we're planning a scavenger hunt for cabins to do together.

Here are some pictures from the day. To see a larger version of any picture, just click on it!
