Hello everyone!
We hope you are
well! The horses have been getting lots of pasture time and are enjoying the
grass.
We have been
keeping busy with some painting projects, lots of mowing, taking care of the
horses, and some Saturday camps. We also had a college group from the UW join
us for a retreat - it had been a while since we'd hosted them, so it was nice
to be able to have them out!
Thanks to all of
the staff and campers that have joined us for our Saturday camps! We've been
doing some fun arts and crafts projects, grooming the horses, getting to know
the other campers and staff, playing group games, and riding the horses of course!
Whoopi the barn
cat isn't quite sure what to make of the lack of people in camp to give her
attention. She likes to come down to the main part of camp and look in the
windows until she finds anyone that might come out and pet her!
We have a couple
of Girl Scout Horse Lover's Days this month, Kirby's Fall Fun Day, and our Fall
Horse Lover's Party at the end of the month. We're staying busy!
The fall colors
are beautiful this year - some of the best we've seen in several years, so we
are enjoying them! The horses are starting to get shaggy coats - cooler weather
must be on the way.
Well, take care
and thanks for stopping by to catch up on happenings at camp!
