Hello from Hoofbeat!
Well it finally feels like winter at camp! We've gotten a couple of snow storms (although most of the snow has melted), but we did get some sledding in for Gizmo's Christmas Party! The temperatures have bottomed out and it is COLD! The horses are extra shaggy in their winter coats and they have been gobbling down the extra hay and corn we are feeding them.
We're super thankful for the sunshine this morning and the horses are too. They always migrate to the sunny areas in their pastures first thing in the mornings. At least if it's cold, the sun makes it more bearable.
We wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It's been a strange year, but we are thankful that we were able to have day camp and our off season programs at camp. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to the new year!
