Hello from Hoofbeat!
We wanted to do a little camp update before it gets too much farther into December!
We have been really busy here at camp working on mailings, camp registration for 2020, hiring staff, taking care of the horses, finishing up the new shed, and getting ready for Dolly's Christmas Party and Christmas Camp. Normally this time of year things have slowed down a little bit, but we have plenty to keep us busy right now!
We are excited to have quite a few returning staff for next summer. A couple of our international staff will be back, plus we have hired three new staff from Australia, Ireland, and the UK. As summer gets closer, we will post staff bios on the blog and our Facebook page, so be on the lookout for those.
Dolly's Christmas Party is next weekend and we're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather!
Christmas Camp is not too far off and staff have been busy planning for it. This year our New Year's Eve party theme will be "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas Camp". Campers and staff can bring costumes and we will make sure to get some pictures and put them on the blog. A big thank you to Jasmine and Heide for doing a bunch of pre-planning for us!
A few weeks ago we had a buck hanging around Pow Wow Point (near our fire pit). Here are a couple of pictures we got of him. Until next time, take care!
