Our friend Linda Von Fairydust (formerly known as Linda Von Dinosaur) paid us a visit on Wednesday and transported us to a land of mythical creatures! In the afternoon the girls took turns riding their dragons and unicorns, playing magical water games, and making mythical creature bag puppets. At dinner, Linda came running in to announce that the candy crazed mythical creatures got out of control and stole the key to trading post! In order to get it back, the campers had to go to different stations and solve a series of riddles in order to find where they hid it. The activities they had to complete were making chocolate covered fairy wands, playing Giants, Wizards, and Elves, completing a centaur jump course, painting unicorns and going on a goblin hunt. At the end of each task they received a riddle that told them where to go next. Ultimately everyone was led to the Stargazing Tower where they found Linda tied up with a magical rope that could only be untied once all the campers were there. Once she was freed she was able to give them the last clue that old them where the key was hidden. The peace was restored and all the campers were able to enjoy trading post!
