Today we were sad to awaken to rain. Although the storms were not strong, it rained consistently throughout the morning. We moved all of our activities indoors, which meant that everyone still did all their usual morning activities, including riding, although the riding classes were shortened to allow each group to ride in the indoor arena. At lunch, we learned we would be going on our Mystery Trip! Everyone was very excited to get out of camp and away from the rain. We were even more glad to be leaving when the power went out during Rest Hour! (Note: the power was out in camp for the entire afternoon and into the evening, so if you tried to call or fax anything, you were most likely unsuccessful. Please give us a call if you were unable to get in touch with us!)
We went to the Kalahari Resort and Waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells! Everyone had a lot of fun going on slides, playing in the wave pool, eating pizza and ice cream, and generally having fun with their friends. Here are some pictures from our time at Kalahari!
