Well the weather is finally starting to get warmer here at camp. We are very excited to see the grass greening up and even have begun to get ready to mow grass. A few projects have kept us busy at camp including lots of spring cleaning. We are looking forward to welcoming mothers and daughters here soon for riding weekends. This past weekend a group of girl scouts were out for a merit badge weekend. We had lots of fun grooming horses and even got creative with the loose hair.

New Mother/Daughter Weekend
Due to the popular demand of our mother/daughter riding weekends we have added an additional weekend for this spring. The weekend of May 30-June 1st is now open both online and with paper copies. We will be sending out the information in our next mailing. These weekends are a great way to share riding, horse knowledge and fun crafts with your daughter. We offer both english and western riding styles for beginners to more advanced riders. We also do things like ground driving, grooming, and hayrides.

Horse Lover's Day
Every year we offer a few special programs designed for the young ladies out there who love horses and want to share a weekend or day with us. These weekends allow us to spend as much time at the barn as possible. This past weekend we had a great bunch of girls out for a day of riding, grooming, and horse science lessons. Also with the warmer weather we are finally able to say bye to the last of our snow and ice here at camp.
