Week 5 Update:)
Happy Wednesday! We have been busy here at camp! On Tuesday, down the hill, campers made magazine collages for Arts & Crafts. In Sports, they played Kickball, and in Skill Surprise, they hung out with our two miniature ponies, Luna and Junebug. Up at the barn, campers learned about the different parts of a horse and horse tack, and got to make awards for the horses who won each of the superlatives they worked on yesterday! Yogi won "Most Silly and Goofy!"
On Wednesday, we made "crazy hair day self-portraits." They look so good! In Sports, we played "Toxic River" which is when the grass is lava and everyone had to stay on the various objects. In Skill Surprise, we got to be with one of our staff member's dogs, Jack. Jack is a Rough Collie. He absolutely loved all the cuddles and attention he got today. At the barn, we learned about First Aid and Lameness. Lameness is when a horse's feet are tired/sore. Campers also got the chance to learn how to lasso in Horse Fun. We can't wait for the last two days of the week!! See you tomorrow:)
