Happy Friday, everyone! We had a great week at camp this week! On Wednesday, in Arts and Crafts, we built our own personal rocket ships! In Sports, we played a variety of group games. For Small Animal Week, we got to play with one of our staff's dogs, Jack. Up at the barn, we learned about different feeds and nutrition, and got to go on a scavenger hunt all over the barn!
Thursday, we tie-dyed, played water games to cool down, and got to meet some of our small animals! We played with our three ducks, three chickens, Carhartt, a snake, and Hawk, a bearded dragon! They loved the attention. Up at the barn, we learned about horse communication, pressures, and cues, and then got to surprise our horses with some home-made treats! They loved them!!
On Friday, we visited the camp Trading Post to pick out some treats, made pearler beads in arts and crafts, and then got to play with our five bunnies! Houdini, Splash, and the three babies appreciated the pets and snuggles!!
