 Welcome to Week 2!

Welcome to the second week of camp! This week is Small Animals Week, and we kicked things off on Monday by spending time with our miniature ponies. Campers had a great time grooming, braiding their manes, and practicing how to lead them around. During our Horse Science rotation, we learned how to saddle and took a guided tour of the barn. In Horse Fun, everyone got to snap a photo with their favorite horse!

Since it's also Space Week, our Arts & Crafts activity was creating color space wreaths to decorate the barn. In Sports, the rainy weather moved us indoors, where we played classic icebreakers like Fruit Bowl and group games such as Heads Up, Seven Up and Transformers.

On Tuesday, Horse Science focused on farriery and horse hooves, while Horse Fun included horse-themed crosswords to challenge our knowledge. Our featured small animals of the day were goats, and campers enjoyed Goat Jeopardy before getting to meet and spend time with our newest dwarf goats, Pip and Pop! In Arts & Crafts, we got creative painting pet alien rocks, and in Sports we kept the energy up with a round of Blob Tag.
