Welcome to Week 3!
Happy Monday! We had quite a busy day today! Due to the heat, we had a condensed schedule today and fit all our normal activities into the morning. We had our first riding lesson and learned about saddling, grooming, and general safety around horses in Horse Science. In horse fun, we made horse ads, promoting some of our favorite horses! Down the hill, we made personal disco balls for Decade week, played a human version of Pac-Man in Skill Surprise, and got to know our groups with some ice-breakers and group games in Sports!
To stay cool in the afternoon, we played water games like Drip-Drip-Drop and water balloon toss. We also made friendship bracelets and painted some horses! After being pained, the horses got a nice bath, cooling them off!! We had so much fun, despite the hot weather, and we can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
