Mystery Trip?

Well we decided today was the perfect day to venture out of camp on our Mystery Trip. The ladies had a blast at the Kalahari Water Park in the Dells. We left right after lunch and were able to spend the rest of the afternoon and evening there. We had a very large supper of pizza and then some of the girls went to check out the sweet hut afterwards. It was very refreshing to be able to splash in the wave pool, relax on the lazy river, or go zipping down some slides. Here are a few photos from our trip out of camp!

The Perfect Summer Weather

Hi Guys! I hope you've all been out enjoying this perfect day - we certainly have! This girls have had a blast riding in the sun & breeze! The past few mornings we've had our riding classes as normal, and the afternoons were filled with riveting adventures!! Yesterday we went on trails, did some grooming and tie dye - we finished the day with a huge scavenger hunt that took the girls all over camp! They had to use their scavenger skills and creativity to find and make the items! Today, the ladies had a lot of fun playing mounted games with their horses, and we finished the evening with a Fancy English theme! The girls got to do some dressage, some horseless show jumping, and a bit of show grooming, too!! They had a blast! Check out some photos below of some of the fun from the past few days! Sunshine and Playtime here on the Ridge!

Well it's been all fun and games so far at Hoofbeat! We have managed to get a whole lot of riding done in just 2 days! The girls started their lessons on Monday morning, getting to ride for 1 hour, learn horse science for 1 hour and take part in an awesome 'downhill' activity, such as Arts & Crafts, Drama or Sports! On Monday afternoon we had a rodeo! The girls got to practice some roping skills, even catching the counselors, too!! As well as that, they did some mounted games such as pole bending and barrel racing! They all rocked at steering their horses round the barrels, getting quick times, too! Well done girls! On Monday evening we got to know our bunkmates a lot better during some cabin time! We even posed for awesome cabin photos! After that we had some group games, playing things like numbers, ships & sailers and our new game, Captain May I... we're sure the girls will tell you all about how much fun they had!
