Wrapping up Week 10

Wrapping up Week 10 (and the Summer)!

Happy Friday! We had a fabulous final day at camp! This morning, everyone had their usual riding lessons. They got to show off all of their learned riding skills at both the walk and the trot. It was so great to see everyone's improvement. Campers also made rein clip keychains and visited our camp store.  In Horse Science, they learned about different types of Horse Sports! This afternoon, everyone got to try out riding in an English Saddle if they were interested. Campers learned about more English-specific skills like posting, two-point and overall position. Everyone enjoyed getting to try out a new style of riding. We also walked our Mini Horses, Luna and Junebug through different patterns that groups had walked through earlier in the week. Everyone also got to enjoy a hay ride through the beautiful Hoofbeat property. Thank you all for such a wonderful end to the summer!!
