Happy Days at Hoofbeat

Hi Everyone!

So another week has kicked off here at Hoofbeat Ridge! We've had a ton of fun with our friends, both horse and people! The girls started Monday morning off with their skill classes; One hour of horse riding, one hour of horse science and an hour of 'downhill'! In the afternoon, we played some mounted games, some relay races and made some friendship bracelets! In the evening, we had scatters indoors to shelter from the rain! We painted nails, colored horse pictures, learned magic tricks and sang a ton of songs! Enjoy the pictures! Click 'read more' to see more!

Wild Adventures here at Hoofbeat!

Hello Everybody!

It's been a fabulous and fun week so far at Hoofbeat! The girls are having a rad time getting to know their horses! It's been a bit toasty, weather-wise, but our spirits have not been dampened! We played Mounted Games on Monday along with grooming, too! On Tuesday we had some trail rides, which were awesome! We also did some tie dying, and then headed to the pool to cool off in the evening! Wednesday was our Mystery trip - the girls got so excited when we pulled up to the Kalahari Water Resort! What a great day! We had so much fun splashing around both indoor and outdoor! Today, we have our riding in the morning, and water games planned for the afternoon! The girls love keeping cool! Enjoy the photos, thanks for checking in! This is Good Night and not Goodbye

Well, First Session of camp has come and gone - and so fast, too! We've had some amazing girls come and join us at camp! We've done all kinds of great horse stuff, like trails, pony painting, mounted games and more! We've had great fun downhill, too, with Capture the Flag, Under Seige, Camper Counselor Hunt and a whole mess of games and crafts!

These past four weeks wouldn't have been possible without the help of our fabulous RITs! Our Riding Instructors in Training have been here since the start of summer, and just finished up their 4 week session. Some of them will be back next year, and some of them fully completed their 2 year program! They did such amazing work with all the campers and horses, and we would like to say a big thank you to each of them! So, to Laina, Morgan, Hannah, Jane, Shalla, Melissa, Abbie & Becca - Thank you! We will miss you! Have a great summer!
