Week 10!

 Week 10!

Happy Week 10! We are off to a great start so far! This morning we enjoyed our first riding lesson of the week, learned how to groom and saddle a horse, both Western style and English, and made some watercolor horse silhouette paintings. In the afternoon, we went back to the barn for a second ride of the day where we played some mounted games, like fast/slow races or "The Twine Game". We also had fun posing and taking pictures with some horses. The horses were smiling big! Finally, we gave our miniature ponies a little spa day by grooming them and braiding their hair. We even got to put some super tiny saddles on them! We cannot wait for the rest of the week, so keep checking in to see what we are up to here at Hoofbeat!!
